Lopping Idle on 96 Rodeo
#1
My 96 3.2L 4WD Rodeo is experiencing idling issues. The other day I had trouble kicking over the vehicle and had a lopping idle once I did. Eventually the idle would stall. It then would not start and I thought it may be flooded. I proceeded to try and kick it over (starter fine) and still would not start but this time had strong odor of gas. I took off air filter cover and noticed gas dripping into the air filter.I figured thereis a pressure build up and too much gas (obviously) was being sent so I took out the fuel pump relay fuse and after a minute the car would start butwould not hold the idel. Ilimped home by constantly revving engine at stops and while driving the idlesurged between 1000 & 3000 rpms.
Once home Iscanned the obdII and four codes came back:
O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank2 Sensor 1)
O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 2)
Any thoughts as I begin to troubleshoot??? Aside from this new behavior the truck ran well at all times.
