hi just bought a 1999 rodeo from private owner had less then 2 weeks and exhaust y pipe broke at the flexi pipe and truck started to misfire struggles to get past 40mph took it to local shop and got test ran on it and says my fuel module is bad -can any one tell me anything about this-thanks

 

Not sure what they mean by fuel module.

If its the fuel pressure regulator then that could possibly make it run like that. If they're talking about fuel gauge sending unit then that will just make your fuel gauge not work (common failure for original FSU's).
