Default How To Fill Trans Fluid On 2002 3.2L V6 Rodeo?

I can't figure out how to add transmission fluid to my 2002 Rodeo. I have a slight leak, and am trying to check/fill. Looking underneath, I don't see the little fill cup, that is shown in alot of the rodeo videos I've seen. It's just one big flat pan, behind the oil. It's not under the hood, like I thought it was originally, I don't think. I don't see a transmission fluid dipstick anywhere, so I started looking underneath.

Any ideas would help.

can you take a pic of what you got there, I think you got us confused with your "fill cup" and big flat pan.
If you are talking a V6 automatic transmission, locate the tranny's oil pan, find the drain plug, from there look a littlebit forward and up, you will find the same kinda plug but this one is the one where you put the fluid in. You will need some kinda pumping device (I used syringes before - lotta work depending on how much you wanna put in) or you can go through the center console with a hose (through the hole for the 4wd high/low shifter, best if you dont have 4wd, the hole is just plugged with a rubber seal)
only way to test the fluid level is to open the filler plug with running engine in Park (hot fluids!) and fill it until it leaks back out.
dont open the filler plug when engine off - you might be taking an ATF shower :-)

I can't take a pic, no. So the drain plug is dead center, on the bottom of the tranny oil pan, correct? If so, there is only one other bolt on the pan, and it's higher up a bit. I have a syringe to add fluid, and I guess I'll just start it up, and give it a shot.
