Fuel System ?s
Hi, I just bought a 1991 Rodeo 3.1 V6 and i just need to get a few things cleared up.
My fuel pump when out a couple days ago and a mechanic told me there was two parts of the fuel pump you had to replace(one above the fuel tank), I'm just trying to figure out if this is true because i found the fuel pump right on the frame and if that is the only part i need to replace i can save myself a couple bucks by doing it myself.
Also are the rodeos carburated or do they have central fuel injection?
Thanks in advance for the help,
Steven

the fuel pump is in the tank,if you have it on the frame some one may have installed a aftermarket inline,so they wouldnt have to drop the tank. the one in the tank is one piece as an assembly.unless you just bought the pump at autozone, then you have to disassemble the unit an just replace the pump.
