There are sensors in the trans but they are heat sensors so it may be overheating the trans but you may just want to take it and let somebody plug it up to the comp. and check the error codes

no error bro!!
as soon as it stalls, then hook up the code reader, everything resets itself.
even when driving and the *crusie ctrl.* light turns on, *check trans* light comes on, and *check engine* there are no codes givin off
its totally weird.

Hi Oilsand and the rest! I got a 1999 Rodeo LS V6 auto yesterday, and the problems started today... It is not such a big deal, but once the engine is warm it has problems starting. Also, when stopping for more than a few seconds, the engine will stop 2 out of 3 times ... A friend told me that it might be just dirty injectors and that I should use any of those products that you add to the gas to clean the injection system, but I think that it may be something electrical. Where should I start? Tune-up, wires and spark-plugs? Any idea?

Thanks a lot in advance guys, I really like the Rodeo, but it was not the best of the begginnigs...

An Isuzu dealership i called said it sounds like the complete engine wiring harness, did you find anything else?
