Hi. I recently bought a fully loaded 2001 Rodeo LS. It didn't come with a keyless entry remote and I'm wondering if it previously had one and if one will work with it. I bought it from a dealer and he didn't know if it previously had one or not. My question is if I buy a remote will it work with my Rodeo and is there any way to tell before I buy one. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks</span>

If it has the blinking red light on the dash then it has the keyless entry/anti theft option.

We can usually check that for you. Please email us with your VIN# and also just in case the year, make and model of your vehicle (it is easy to make a mistake in the VIN #)

We offer a wide selection of original manufacturer keyless entry remotes (RKE, fobs) at discount prices. In most cases you can also program the remote yourself with our easy to follow programming instructions. Please visit our website at

If you have any questions or have any specific inquiries about your remote system please contact us at customercare@carandtruckremotes.com including year, make and model of your vehicle.
