I put a cold air on my car with a new performance muffler, changed the spark plugsand run premium gas. the check engine light turned off wheni Changed the plugs and got the exhaust.Now it's back again, any tips on getting it to turn off maybemake my car run a little less lean?

What year and engine? If its a '00+ 3.2 it needs certain spark plugs for ion sensing ignition system.

Try disconnecting the battery for a while. That should reset the computer and make it re-learn how to run right.

it's a 98 LS, but i'll try disconnecting the battery and see how that goes
