a/c turns off

Default a/c turns off

my airconditioner is turning off. Clutch will disingauge after a/c has been running. check freon level and pressures, all ok a/c kools great while it is running with no noise at compressor. is there some type of thermostate that may be going bad?

Weird, is this at idle or while driving. Many I have worked with, above a certain rpm, it will disengage ac clutch. Perhaps this sensor is bad?

it will do it at any time , its like freezing, maybe a dirty reciever dryer.

May be a long shot, but I have the same issue with a Chevy Malibu. In the case of my Malibu (worst car ever made), its a malfunctioning switch inside the dash.

just checked the condenser fan and it only runs if the recycle switch is set to recycle. if I slide it over to outside air the condensor fan quits. what controls the condenser fan ?
