Hey everyone,
I have a 1994 Rodeo 5speed with a 3.2L SOHC, i have a spare motor for it as well, but i would like to build one up, i was just wondering if anyone on here has ever turbocharged or supercharged one of these motors before, and if so about how much boost can you run on stock internals?? i may just end up finding out the hard way becuase i havent found much info on it, the few kits i have found are pretty weak, like a 50hp gain, i'm looking to make about 350hp, if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated, also if anyone has a link to any isuzu performance parts sites, please let me know!!!

THANKS!!!!

You arent going to get 350 hp from a Zu 3.2 engine unless you have lots of money for custom parts. Alpine made a supercharger for '98+ 3.2 and 3.5 but you wont get that much power out of it. And it costs $3k.

With AvGas, supercharger, remapped computer, and some modifying you can get 310 hp

thanks! yeah, i kinda figured that i would be looking at spending a lot of money on this engine because that isn't any mass produced performance parts around for it, i have a catalog where i can order pistons and such to my specs but they want lots of money, i was hoping maybe someone else had already had the idea, 310hp wouldnt be bad though, much better than stock, would that be with the alpine supercharger? I found that site awhile back but the power gains didn't seem to justify the 3 grand, anyways, thank you and any other ideas, suggestions, or advice woudl be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!

Thanks!!
