turbo on n/a
#1
Hey all,
I'm new to Isuzu and have a question. I came across a 91 Impulse (Lotus Handling) non-turbo. Me being a turbo junkie would like to know how much the stock, non-turbo motor could handle? What else, if anything, would need to be modified to accommodate a turbo on these cars.

its the same engine, since it didnt come with the turbo, the exhaust manifold an intake would need to be changed,an of course an intercooler.but as for the engine it can handle it.fuel delivery for the added air would have to be addressed.the pcm delivers more fuel or longer injector pulse width in the turbo models.it would be a neat project for you to do it yourself.

Well, looks like it might happen being that some jackass kids were in a high speed car chase with each other, one ran a stop sign and I T-boned him in my Eclipse. Then the little punk took off through some front yards and got away. Didn't even get a lisence plate #. But what really pist me off is when I finally got the driver side door open to get to the passenger side where my 5 month old was, in the backseat (By the way, thanks to Graco car seats), cars were still driving by me doing the speed limit?!?!?! What kind of crap is that. Anyway, enough ranting. Where are some good Isuzu performance web shops?
