ABS Sensor: Need Help!
1999 Rodeo LS with 80,000 miles on it...
When I exceed 65 mph my ABS light comes on. I pull over, turn it off, turn it back on, and roll forward slowly in drive and it goes out. It will stay off and the ABS will work properly as long as I'm under 65 mph or so. I almost had a wreck on the interstate offramp because the rear brakes grabbed hard and the ABS light was on and I slid to a stop. I did notice that the tires are 1 size smaller than recommended all the way around. the dealership put 235/70/R16's on it instead of the factory 245/70/R16's. Could this be the cause? Any help and input is much appreciated, thanks!
