Default 99 Rodeo Cluth Fan Noise

1999 Rodeo V6 Auto 4x4

Just had my clutch fan replaced as old one was certainly worn out (you could stop the fan with your bare hand.

However, now when it is hot out the fan is constantly making a loud noise when I accelerate. When it is cooler out, it is very loud when I accelerate in first gear, then quiets down. The mechanic that replaced it says it is operating the way it is supposed to.

Note: My AC Compressor and/or my mechanical thermostat located in the dash are likely both needing replaced. However, I am told by two mechanics those two parts should not affect the clutch fan.

Could it be a bad clutch fan?

Thanks
