my rear wiper is fried,,sometimes you push the button and nothing happens BUT you stop at the store or wherever get back in turn the key and the wiper cycles a couple of times without the switch pushed in...any ideas?

 

Bad wiper relay. Fairly common on 2nd gen rodeos. If you feel up to soldering you can replace all 3 relays for under $10 (they are soldered to a pc board). A new module from isuzu is about $200.

I did all of them to avoid future problems and didnt have to figure out exactly which one it was.
