1996 Rodeo 3.2 2 wheel drive Auto Trans. When driving the temp gage will go to the high side of the gage and the A/C will blow warm air (not hot but not cold). If you shift into 3 the temp will come down for a while and theA/C will start working again. I have checked the water level in the radatior, belts, fan and looked for lose wires under the hood. Everthing looks good. Does anyone have any ideas?

Put the new thermostat in and it looks like it fixed it.
