So Im buying this on Monday, has just over 100k, owner said the O2 like came on right as it passed 90k, but affects nothing. Do I need to change it

Also what is the biggest tire/rim combo I can put on here with out a lift.....I want to put BF Goodrich All Terrains all around as I love them tires

Even though this is a 2wd can I still put a suspension lift on it

this thing is strong as an ox, plus I drive a lot for work and need somthing better on gas and I wanted a Rodeo again...so here is my opprotunity to do so

any tricks or tips for the 4 cyl?

thanks in advance

The o2 light is just a mileaged based preprogrammed light. Its set to come on every 90k miles to make ppl think something is wrong. That way they take it to the dealer so the dealer can sell them o2 sensors. That said, the sensors do get weak over time and the reading will be off a little but not enough to trip the CEL. It will effect mileage though. I replaced mine around 100k just as maintenance and picked up about 1 mpg. To turn the light off I believe you have to remove the speedo cluster and move a screw to a different hole, I havent done one on an isuzu yet.

Gen 1 (93-95) and 1.5 (''''96-97) had the larger wheel openings and can fit up to a 32" tire (32x11.5-15 or 285/75-16) as long as the back spacing of the wheel is close to stock, an no lift required. If the wheel sticks out too much some fender trimming might be needed. With a 4 cyl through larger tires will probably kill what little power you have. I wont go over a 32" on my DOHC V6 unless I regear the axles.

Yes you can lift a 2wd. Just need longer rear spring shackles for up to 2" lift, add a leaf or new arched leaf springs to get it up to 3". The front you just crank up the torsion bars. On gen 1 and 1.5 3" is about as much as you can go.

I have a large squealing noise now, it comes and goes......my guess is the fan clutch....is there a way to tell if its bad or not?
