I replaced the oxygen sensor on my ''93 Rodeo 3.3 ltr. after the O2 light came on. I unhooked the battery for several hours to reset, but the O2 light is still lit. There is no sign of any damage to the wires. I only see the one sensor. Any help is apreciated.

 

In my 1994... (so might be a little different) the O2 light comes on at 80K. Doesn''t matter if it''s bad or not. The "light turn off procedure" involves removing the insturment cluster and moving a small ''set screw'' from one hole to another. That restarts the O2- 80K timer.

Most can be found on Ebay for under $100 (got mine for $80 in hard copy) and CD versions (if available) for less than $15. I got severalfor my domestic vehicles on CD, including my ''94 Explorer (it''s a POS) for under $10.
