I have a '93 Rodeo with the 3.2L engine and auto trans.It has a very slow transmission leak and the other day it got low enough where the check trans light came on.I put close to a quart in it and the light went off and it drove fine.The light has popped back on a couple of times since then and it has gone into safe mode,but as soon as I cut it off and restarted it,the light is back off and running fine.Any suggestions as to whether it's anything I should be concerned with or not?Any way to troubleshoot this further?Thanks

 

I have a similar problem, same vehicle but the check trans light only comes on when im in 4 wheel drive, im not sure if I have a transmission leak or not. the light turns off when I restart the vehicl and doesnt come on when not in 4x4. Anybody have any suggestions as to possible fixes
