Just brought my 04 rodeo to aamco, they can't fix the issues. the truck wont engage into 4wd, and there is a check 4wd light on the dash.

they told me it has a P0602 code, which is some form of an electronic command module. anyone one if this is pricy at a dealer, or if this is a small issue?

Since your truck is 4WD, the rear seal in the transmission between it and the transfer case may be bad, which causes the transmission fluid to drain into the transfer case, and causes the harsh shifting. The mercury mountaineer's have the same problems. So before doing anything drastic have that rear seal checked.
