I need to replace thermostat. It appears to be quite difficult. I am not extremely mechanical. is there a resource for instructions? Would you recommend taking it to the dealer?

If you are not mechanical then a local shop or dealer are the best option. You have to remove the intake manifold to get to it. Retorquing the manifold bolts can be tricky. Isuzu changed the torque spec to 13 ft lbs to avoid cracking the intake gasket. If you go to a local shop make sure they know that.< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-44";
urchinTracker();
</>
