Hi! Hope someone can help me. 1998 Rodeo 2.2L 2 wheel drive. Having a problem with water not flowing through motor. To start at the beginning...Head gasket was leaking, upon strong recommendation we were told to use Blue Devil. Added Blue Devil as directed. About 60 miles later the vehicle suddenly overheatsand the whole top seam of the radiator splits. When I say suddenly overheats, it was exactly that. Had beenhaving problems with the vehicle getting hot, so it was natural to keep a very close eye on the temp gage. It was staying steady at half, then suddenly shot up to hot and beforeyou could even get your foot off the gas andon the brake it blew theradiator. The thermostat was brand new, so not sure if it has anything to do with it. Anyway, we have now replaced the radiator, another new thermostat and started it up. Runs fine, except none of the hoses were getting hot and heater blows cold. Started feeling around on the hoses to the radiator and realized that there isn''t any water flow. Pulled the water pump thinking it may have gone out...even though it isbarely 2 years old. It spins just fine. All belts are good. So, do we have a clogsomewhere or did the Blue Devil seal something that it shouldn''t have? Where should we look next? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Drain your coolant system. Stick a garden hose on the upper radiator hose, duct tape it tight.Pull our your lower radiator hose and place a large bucket under it. Turn on the water and see if it goes. You essentially are "flushing" the system.
