Hello,

Have an '04 Rodeo that has aftermarket "Xentec" HID headlights and the left-side is out, but it's not the bulb or ballast/igniter. (Each was swapped w/ the right-side and work fine)

There is a 3-wire harness at each side that the Xentecs are plugged into, and I'm getting 12V at the Red/Green wire on the right-side, but NOT at the corresponding Red/White on the left-side...??? This 3-wire harness at each side looks factory/stock as there are no splices, so don't think that the Xentecs are actually playing a part in this...

Any ideas?

 

Well, who would have known the LEFT and RIGHT headlights each have their own fuse? Aaaaahhhhh.....!

Don't know why it blew, but if it doesn't happen again, I'm not worrying about it!

Well, for the most part
HID's are really cool. Wanted to get them for my
91 Trooper but no luck so I had to get the hi output bulbs instead.
