Can anyone help me? I’ve got an 04 Rodeo S 3.2 4wd. It’s been parked at a friends house for almost a year. I’m getting a diagnostic code for P1601 Serial Communication with Device 1 (PCM/ powertrain control module). I’ve been to a few shops around town and am getting pretty much the same thing. “Don’t know how we can help”, shops are saying they don’t have the equipment to diagnose the issue. Anyone know of any way to trace or trouble shoot from home? Thank u
