I bought my car without an owner manual, and the car is needed for towing my trailer. On the sun-shade its tell you the meaning of 2, 4H, 4L and Neutral(for towing - see owner manual). Can someone please help teach me how to shift into the Neutral Range and how to use it and what to aware. Appreciate for all your help

Dont know why they mention neutral for towing. ''98+ rodeos dont have a neutral position on the transfer case so cant be flat towed (t-case N is for flat towing behind another vehicle). Dont use 4wd on dry pavement. It will cause it to bind and could break something. 4wd is only for low traction (snow, dirt, etc.).

Is yours 5 speed or automatic?

Mine didnt have one when I bought it either, I got one off of ebay. Dealer may be cheaper or free though for an ''03.
