I currently drive a 98 3.2 rodeo which has a bad alternator. Question is, my neighbor has a 2000 3.2 Rodeo with a blown engine and 90 amp alternator. Will the newer model alternator work in the older model??

Thanks!!

Chuck

They should be exactly the same from '98-03.

Problem is, when I pull the alternators up on autozone and napa, they call for totally different numbers. Even the 90 amp numbers are different. It looks like they went to the 90 amp in '99..........
