Bit of a problem with my 2003 pick up!
The check engine light is on, the vechile wont go above 3000 revs whilst stationary, it has no power and wont go over 25mph. The exhaust smells of fuel and creates a lot of smoke.
I've taken it to an Isuzi garage and they changed the air flow sensor and that didnt work, its had a new fuel filter, they by-passed the egr valve to no avail. the garage suggests that the next thing to change is the fuel pump which is over a grand! I've tried disconnecting the battery for over 24 hours to try and reset the ecu but that didnt work.

Any suggestions????
