How to adjust timing advance on 85 C223 diesel??

Default How to adjust timing advance on 85 C223 diesel??
My timing advance doesn't kick in until high rpm and pedal floored. Is there a way I can get it to advance sooner?

85' pup diesel, 5 speed, C223
