Soon to buy a 1993 pickup with, the seller says, a carb problem. He insists it needs to be replaced. Does anyone make a kit to rebuild this carb????

Yes NAPA makes one, it runs about $60.00 or you can order a new Carb from Autozone for $560.00

Another place you can check if you want a used carb or other parts is www.car-parts.com It is a link to all auto salvage yards throughout the US.

Autozone could not get me a 92 pickup carb. Any other places that have them?

i have several posts about my truck. and have never got any response. I have this same problem in my 93 pickup.and the best thing to do is get a weber carb.just out of my past with my truck here are my issues.(may be long)well i started out buying the mexican lowrider for $600 with a bad transmission.went to a salvgeyard and got a good one. after that my truck ideld really poor and made a pinging noise during acceleration. i knew it had some bad crank bearings but ignored the problem.and it finaly slung a rod on ga 400 and caught the hwy on fire but i still puttered home on three cylenders(thank god)well then again i went to a salvege yard and got a motor 32,000 miles on it and installed a 2.6 out of a rodeo.changed oilpan, intakeand exauast manifolds, and clutch flywheel etc. well i had a good fast truck but about 3 weeks down the road it started to knock again.soo once again i ignored the carb issue so my truck was burning too rich and was heating up the cylenders sooooo severe it was actually melting the rods.so in my opinion if you do get the truck dont ignore the carb problem or you may have my problem. these trucks are awsome if ran correctly.but be quick to fix its faults....... good luck to you on the truck......nick

isuzus carbs would wear out the throttle shafts an cause vacuum leak.lean condition higher combustion temps, burn valves,DO NOT IGNORE THE CARB PROBLEM.napa sells one the whole unit.here anyway i got one for around 300.still works fine an thats been around 6yrs ago.there are rebuild kits.theres really not much to it.if its rebuildable.carbs are no more than ....fuel toilets.its amazing how well they work forthere time.personally i love fuel injection.
