Does anyone have the part number for the original alternator lower bolt on a 2.3 carbureted amigo, pickup etc The long one!!!!...The bolts you get from the parts stores are not thick enough for the alternator to properly seat on the lower bracket. Using these part store bolts will work temporarily but eventually the adjuster bolt connected to the smog pump bracket will break as well as the lower mounting bolt holding the alternator. This has happened to me at least 6 times.in the oast 10 years. Using any other bolt other than the OEM bolt will offset the mounting of the alternator and cause unwanted vibration and stress on all mounting bolts and surfaces... If anyone has the original bolt please get it micrometered for thickness at oriellys and measure the length and post it. The thickness of the smooth part of the bolt is the most important part if this request
