Hello everyone... here’s my problem. I have a 1982 trooper and the driver vent window will need t stay open when you driving. No air conditioning so the air is really nice to have. I have removed the door panel and tried tightening the bolt attachment as much as I dare and I tried replacing the old spring and washers as well. No success. The window still swings freely giving very little resistance .... any suggestions or ideas?
