Hello all, I'm a Rodeo wannabe and have a line ona rig that needs an engine. 3.2 DOHC 6VD1. Question: will the 3.5 6VE1 engine fit right into this vehicle? Manual tranny. Any information about doing a swap like this would be very helpful. Thanks, BD[img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]

 

i don;t think the 3.5 will fit , there are write ups on 4x4wire of guys who have swapped motors

 

Some of th write-ups I've found here indicate that people replacing their 3.5 can use the 3.2, so why not the other way around. Sounds like the only difference will be the cable versus electronic throttle, going from 1999 to 2000 engines.


Next question: will the flywheel from the 3.2 fit onto the 3.5 crank?BD
