Hey guys, I'm new to this whole Isuzu thing, so I'm hoping to get some feedback on this one. I have a decent background in automotive, but am not the BESt in electrical.

Aight, there is a 1996 Isuzu Rodeo that I'm having some trouble with. First of all, the car was in a front-end wreck a few months back and the passengers side was damaged somewhat. Since then, one wiring problem has come up due to a pinched wire(had severe engine misfire w/ MIL blinking and stalling out). That got fixed and now there is another issue.

Yesterday, the car ran fine, then I went to drive it and the car would not even turn over at all. The cluster lights would blink every few seconds and the fuel pump relay was clicking rapidly. Also, the "door ajar" buzzer was very faint. The gear lockout(auto shifter lockout for brake) was engaging/disengaging along with the fuel pump relay. I unhooked the battery and left it for the nite.

Now I went back today to play with the car and hooked the battery up and everything and tried to start the car. Now there was nothing! The starter solenoid clicked once and then there was no lights or anything. The buzzer is fine until you turn the car to the "RUN" postion, then it fades away along with the radio time. Also, every now and then when you put the key in and turn the car to "ON", the cd changer cycles through the cds, but there is no cluster lights and usually not even a solenoid click. The only thing that I did was play with the harness behind the driver's side headlamp(the one with all the fresh tape on it and the one that had some skinned up wires in it.

Anyone out ther got any clue as to what this could be.....I looked at several wiring diagrams for the car and the only place that these circuits cross from what i can tell is the PCM, but the car ran fine prior to yesterday. My only other thing was a shorted circuit or a bad ground, but I checked all the grounds earlier. I'm still thinking that there is a pinched or shorted out wire somewhere, but I'm not sure where. Anyone's advice is more than welcome and would be greatly appreciated! I mean ANYTHING!!....I'm kinda stumped here.

Thanx guys,

-Josh Hines
