So, I took my 1998 Isuzu trooper to two repair places and the news is bad. Both places ran tests and found exhaust gases coming from the radiator. Could be bad cylinder, bad head gasket, cracked block . . .you get the picture. So it seems that it will be somewhere between 6,500.00 -10,000.00 to repair or replace the engine. OUCH! So I now have a 2000 pound paper weight. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

It's ok, bad things do happen sometimes. Just cheer up and let yourself move on. Maybe your car just needed some break. I got mine replaced after a whole decade of service.
