Just bought a 98 Rodeo a few weeks ago for the wife to drive mainly. 3.2 l engine, auto trans. It has been doing very well until yesterday. Wife was coming home from work and "check engine" light came on solid and then the "check trans" light started blinking. It seems strange that both these lights would come on at the same time. It will be a few days before I can have it put on a code reader, anyone have any preliminary guesses?
