Hello everybody,

I'm a window cleaner from east texas, I own a 98 isuzu amigo, it's a 4 cyl 5speed model. I've got it completely dedicated to my business, and I really like my amigo.

So here's my issue, when I bought it, the transmission had been replaced, and well, whatever shop did the actual work did not use a gasket and very little silicone where the shifter attatches to the transmission. Needless to say, the oil ran low, by the time I noticed, my tranny had kicked the bucket, as it were.

My amigo is running, I replaced the oil, I know this is a temporay fix.
I'm wondering if it would be more cost effective to replace or rebuild me transmission. Any thoughts?
