Default New 1999 Amigo owner

Hi, I bought my 1999 Amigo, with only 87000 miles on it, V6, just a few days ago in Arizona. It's a nice truck, but it has a few things I haven't yet figured out. It unfortunately did not come with an owners manual, and the Isuzu website isn't helpful in providing a copy. I made a post about this here...

Welcome to the forum. Have you tried eBay? I bought mine there.

Thanks. It's so quiet in this forum, the cricket chirping is maddening.

I did look at eBay, making an offer for $16.65, which was accepted, for a "1999 ISUZU SUV Owners Reference Book" which contains all of the owners manuals for Isuzu's entire line during that year, but it isn't exactly glovebox sized. The actual manual that came with the 1999 Amigo was going for well over $50 on eBay. It's a shame, as if you go to any other auto manufacturer, you'll find the owners manual, which has key safety-related material in it, for free in PDF format.

There seems to be an alarm, I activated it somehow with my key in the passenger door. I'd like to learn more about this. Also there was no key fob to lock and unlock the doors. Should there be one? I rolled the dice and also got a key fob for 1999 Isuzus off of eBay and hope I can get it to work. The questions have just begun.
