well, its not my car, its my dads. he doesnt know much english so im the interpreter/mechanic for the car. well, its a 98 rodeo v6, but not 4wd, which sucks! but its turning to be a pretty cool project for me.
when we got the car it wasnt running due to bad battery terminals and the rack and pinion was shot. i mean, it was completely obliterated, the rotary valve was completely broken off. i just removed it yesterday discovering this. i'm in need of one now and didnt have luck finding one at the junk yards. all the rodeos there had a different rack system. they all looked like a straight axle set up or something. i did, however, find one with the cap or something missing from the bottom. it looked like it just screws in. this forum seems like it'll be great help! thats a little about me and the car

fixed the problem...now the tranny needs work!
