Drove 1000 miles to buy Amigo, broke down
I bought an Amigo. It was running fine. At around 100 miles, check engine light came on. It threw codes P0341 & P0342. Both for camshaft position sensor. We bought the part and kept driving. It ran fine.
A little later when turning the air-conditioner, a loud sound developed. I think it is the air-conditioner compressor. I was most worried about this.
About 50 miles from home, 950 miles into the trip, after a quick stop, it won't start. It did this previous, but after cleaning the battery terminals, it fired right up.
So I think we have multiple problems.....The hardest issue for us is this cam-shaft sensor. The problem we encounter is it says to remove the crank-pulley....WHAT?? Won't that effect the timing?
