Well, due to my car being wrecked by some moron that can't drive in the snow (not saying that I'm any expert, it was the first time I'd ever driven in the snow, but at least I stayed in my own lane), I have been in the market for a new car over the past 3 weeks. It's been a pain in the butt, running back and forth all over the area looking at cars, but I finally found one that I bought. I am now the proud owner of a 2001 Rodeo Sport! It's white with a hard top, 95K miles on it, great mechanical shape (all we're going to do it is basic maintenance stuff like oil change, new wiper blade and a coolant flush, thank goodness for the mechanic boyfriend), pretty good cosmetic shape. It's not perfect, but it's good enough for me to drive back and forth to work and toting the dog around.

Now I'm off to search the boards for mods ideas. I'm a member of the Element Owner's Club forums (I'm sure I'll catch some flak for that around here, huh?), and one of the mods a few members over there have done is to add LED lights to the interior to help out the weak dome light (which, quite frankly, SUCKS). I'm thinking that will be my first mod. Well, aside from a new stereo so I can listed to Sirius and NASCAR.
