I have a 1985 trooper with the 1.9L 4 cyl engine. The motor threw a rod and I took it out to rebuild. I sent the crank off to be turned and was told it was cracked and had to buy a new one. My question is; does anyone know what engine will mount up to the trans I have. I would like to put in a v6 since the 1.9 is extemely underpowered. If not I need to know where I can get a crank. I have been all over the internet and can find no info. PLEASE HELP. I am new to the Isuzu family but not to auto mechanics, so please help me with this problem
