Well, the starter is going in my 1996 3.2l Rodeo (4wd), and albeit a bummer, it gets worse for me = \.
I cant find the thing...I have a few pics of the starter itself (thanks you google) but have not seen anything that resembles the pics I have found under my hood or underneath the motor.
Maybe i should buy a chilton's .........

 

starter is below the drivers side manifold.to remove it slide back the left converter
