Just acquired my first Isuzu pup. Registration says 1986, previous owner thinks it is '76. I need to know cause the front spindle broke and I dont know what year to quote. Any way to tell year on vin, etc.


Any help fully appreciated!

 

Isuzu P'up didnt come out until '81. Before that Isuzu built the Chevy Luv pickups. They look very different and once you see both you cant confuse the two.

 

If the registration says it is an 86, then thats what it is. I just bought an 86 pup TODAY!! [img]smileys/smiley3.gif[/img]The owner said it was an 85[img]smileys/smiley5.gif[/img], but the registration said 86. I did a carfax report and it is indeed an 86.
