Wheel Bearings ?

We havea 1997 Hombre, the front left wheel bearings are loose and roling around inside, you can feel it bad when you are driving and of course it makes noise. He has replaced them before. But it does not last long. He thinks he may need shocks which is what is causing the problem. HELP!!! Don't know really what to do. Well, the truck got driven and now the hub is welded on to the rest from the bearings getting hot and rolling around inside.? Do not know how to get it to come loose to replace the shocks.? Any help would be great!!! Thanks [img]smileys/smiley5.gif[/img]
