Default rodeo die only when stopping (help)

i just did a valve cover job on a 95 rodeo with the 3.2 and got it back together and no leaks. the check engine light came on so i thought i did the vaccum lines wrong but they were right so i rplaced them and still nothing. then i went to drive it and it die when in drive and only when i come to a stop. this also dosent happen all of the time only every now and then.

i tried ajusting the idle but nothing it idles at about 800 now.

i unplugged the IAC when it was running and no idle change
also i had to make my own TB gasket idk if that could be the problem

and help and idea would be great

thanks

have you cleaned the iac ? mine would stick every once and a while and would die every once in a while. also i would double check ur vacum lines to the egr as mine were diffrent i tried hooking the vacum lines as they said in the book for cali emissions (previous owner had did his own splicing to get it to run) and it wouldnt run right re routed the vacum to the fedral emissions and it runs great now it evan passed smog with no isues.
