Hello,

I have a few questions about the V6/Automatic trans issues/reliability. I'm about to purchase a 2000 amigo v6 4x4 Automatic. I test drove it and found something that I though was unusual. I though I would ask the experts here before I run off froma good deal. When I allelerate or come to a stop I feel something like the transmission engaging and disengaging gears. It's more prominent than I'm used to but it would be because it's a truck, not the car I'm used to. Is it normal to feel this when you start going and when you come to a stop? What elase should I look for? It seems that the trans is a sealed unit as it does not have a dipstic, only for the oil. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Much.....
