New member needs help...

Just got a rodeo and now having problems with the gas indicator being all over the place and going on E (empty).

Was told that after i fill up a full tank to reset my miles to zero and should last bout 250 to 270 miles but today my wife ran out of gas when the rodeo was only at 200miles.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any trick to this or ways to get this fix.

 

The first thing to look for are all the ground straps under the hood, also the ground cable on the battery and the body ground from the cable to the fender well. clean and or repair these first to be sure you are not "hunting " for ground. if that dosen't do it, you need to take it to a good shop.
