'94 pickup water pump
First post on this forum. I've had this '94 Isuzu pickup - 2.3 liter 4 cyl. with carb since 1998. it's got 145K miles. water pump and t-belt were replaced about 50K ago by a local shop that went out of business. water pump is now pouring out coolant at bottom, so pretty obvious what i need to do. besides the pump, I'd like to go ahead and replace the t-belt. any suggestions on the following?
where order the water pump? i was advised by my mechanic who is working on my son's Pathfinder not to buy from aftermarket stores or it will last only 50K and then leak.
anyhelp diagrams or good manuals available online? i have a Haynes manual but read a post that someone found a discrepancy on how to align the cam, etc. PLEASE NOTE: i have NEVER replaced a t-belt in my life. i can do the pump, but nervous about the t-belt. i don't have a timing light or any special tools. but i can follow instructions.
Question: it's been over 50K since eng valves were adjusted. Is this something i can do with some feeler gages and general tools? do i even need to be concerned?
i wanna keep the truck for a long time and have very little cash right now so i'll be trying all of this mtc. myself to keep it running. thanks in advance for help. dennis

Pretty sure the pump's bad. the shaft if loose. i noticed that when i took the belt off the air pump ( i think Isuzu calls it a "generator"?) the air pump pulley has a slight wobble as it rotates freely. it is not true but not out by much. would this cause the water pump shaft to wear the bearings in the pump out quicker? or is a slight wobble on drive pulleys acceptable?
at the point now, where everything's out of the way and i'm trying to get the crankshaft pulley nut off
I have the radiator out and some plywood in between the engine and my A/C condenser to protect it. i have a breaker bar tied to the frame underneath my battery. solid there. i am holding the breaker bar in the middle to keep pressure so the socket doesn't come off.
my son turned the key just enough to bump the starter a bit. we did this a couple times with no success yet. i'm putting penetrating fluid on the nut and waiting a while now before we go try to hurt ourselves again.
I found a good website that has an online manual for about $30.
http://www.alldatadiy.com/
It's gotten me thru so far.
Also found a good parts supplier (i hope):
http://www.partsgeek.com/ Has anyone ever used this website & bought parts?
i still would like to know anyone's insight on replacing the timing belt or doing valve adjustment. never done either. so far I've marked where i will line back up the crank pulley on the marker for timing found on the lower timing belt cover. when i get the covers off, i'll also mark where i need to line up the camshaft pulley.
well, here goes another try with the breaker bar
