Does anyone know if I can get the pistons out of the bottom of an 86 trooper II 2.2 turbo diesel with the engine still in the vehicle? It burns an amazing amount of oil. Have the head off and didn't find any glaring issues. Now thinking the issue must be oil control rings. It has good compression ~400 psi all cylinders runs nice except for the blue cloud.
Help!
