cruise control stopped working. Checked both inside and outside fuses.No part stores have a book for it. Help..

 

check the little things first. Make sure the brake/clutch pedal switch is working properly. Probe the fuse to be sure you have power in and out with the fuse in place. when you go to engage or arm the cruise does the indicator light come on? Take notice of the other on colummn controls - do the wipers work the way they should. The rotating contact in the steering column(clock spring) may be worn.
