I just recenly purchased an 02 Axiom, I love the overal style, ride and feel of this truck. It's my first Isuzu and I know nothing about them. I noticed a tiny drop of oil in my driveway this afternoon. So I crawled under the vehicle, and notice where it was coming from, it looks to be dripping from something just to the left (drivers side) of the transmission pan. Any clue where it could be coming from?

Before picking up the vehicle, the dealer changed both the Transmission and Oil pan gaskets. But I don't think they changed the Transmission filter, because it doesn't seem to have a smooth shift when first accelerating from a stop, like it did during my test drive. Almost seems as if the fluid isn't reaching the rest of the transmission, or they transmission fluid is low. How can I check the level of the fluid since there is no dip stick? Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Bob

On mine the factory pressure fittings lost their tension and oil began to leak from the hoses. They are located on the passenger front side of the transmission. I can only guess that it is traveling across to the other side.

Sorry I cannot be more help.

I purchased the rear wing thru the internet. I ordered it painted, easy bolt on. I also installed a Rhino guard with extra lightsand side bars. I also installed satallite radio, amp, and tv's for my kids.

There are not much into customizing it.

Where did you get the wing? I'm intrested in getting one, not sure how it would exactly look, got any pics? I would also like to install some chrome side bars. Any info is appreciated.

I'm planning on having the drivers door and passengerwindow tinted, getting a Sunroof Visor and Window Visors to match the existing Bug Deflector that was already on the vehicle.

Ok, Thanks! I'm hoping to get the windows tinted within the next few weeks, and some window and sunroof visors... all depends on the cash flow! And I wanna start saving for some of the other mods, such as the wing, and some chrome step bars!

if there is oil coming from the drivers side of trans, from behind a switch it is the selector shaft seal leaking
