brake light

trying to replace brake light bulb. I've removed the two screws holding the tail light fixture, but cannot get the fixture free. is there a trick or is it just more force than I've dared to use?

There are only 2 screws and then you pull out the assembly. They can be tough to pop out. Here is a photo that might help.
